• Community-based, non-profit organization
• 2200 community members receive basic health care, health outreach and education opportunities
• Staff include 4 Community Health Workers that are hired within the community and visit homes daily
• Comprised of a classroom, dental and general clinics, eye clinic, kitchen, office, staff room and small garden
• Enhanced sanitation through installation of water pipes, latrines and garbage bins

St. Anne's Community Centre of Concern

• JSH supported since 1997
• Serves a community of approximately 5000
• 16 young teenagers participate in educational programmes
• Participants in activities such as drama group or brownies
• Community activities planned and implemented by citizen groups
• Operates on the voluntary and low-paid efforts of professionals, particularly young Jamaican professionals
